Considering the way neteller handled its US customers during the debacle, anyone who continues to use neteller, from any country is a fool, and deserves whatever they get.

[/ QUOTE ]

What an ignorant statement, (they allow fools to become mods now?), the reason for that debacle was US government, not NetEller.
I have travelled a bit, and gotten my account temporarily closed, but opened after contacting support verifying that I was owner of account. A hazzle maybe, but some added security of my money.

Just to be sure when is the deadline for US customers to get their money out of there?

I'm in a restricted country now and neteller is banned from here so they said i cant withdraw from here. I figure i just do it from the States when i go back around x-mas time. That still OK right.

It was very funny, but you should just not log in from Italy.

NETELLER handled the debacle horribly. Total lack of decent communication.

Too bad there is no good alternative. Moneybookers' customer service is not really top-notch, either. Besides, they are not as widely accepted.

Ahhh. This explains alot. I've been abroad for a while and unable to access my account. I get a message that says something to the effet of, "Neteller is unavailable from your current location" when i try to log in. I assumed it's because i'm in sketchy countries that may be blacklisted, but maybe not. Also, i used to access neteller from The U.S. as well as another country. Is this a newish policy?

same happens from me while I used my other computer in other room (normally playin on laptop), but just one call and they unlocked my account, yep, it's pain in the ass but could be done to unblock an account and as sb stated, if one is travellin much they can set off this security issue, is this as much problem for OP? seems like loling isn't the optimal way of setting things...

stop trying to hack your own account and breach security. You're only cheating yourself.
