Default 200nl: AA in a spot vs. drooler

I've seen this guy stack off 100bb's with TPNK (A4 on AQ9 board).

Sick spot. Only thing I can think of that he *might* play this way that you beat is QJ (you said he's a drooler...so I'm assuming he isn't thinking about being counterfeited).

Looks like a fold...but I'm not too too happy about it.

This might be a fold considering your hand is face up to an observant player, but getting over 3 to 1 against a player who stacks off easily, I don't think I'm mucking it.

It would be helpful if you included how he stacked off with A4. Did he c/c down or did he play it aggressively? If he played it aggressively, that definitely pushes it to a call, IMHO.

loosbastard,
I'm guessing he would play QcXc in this way as well.

Stacking off with Ax is very different than stacking off with Qx or Jx even in a drooler mind.
I think I fold here unless I have a very strong read that villain is a maniac that would stack off with a pair in this spot. I think you see a 9 too much here to make the call. Tough spot.

Here's the A4 hand. Guess It wasn't quite a full 100bb, but 80bb is close enough:

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $1/$2 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

SB: $198.00
Hero (BB): $216.30
MORAN!!!11!! (UTG): $203.00
MP: $162.60
CO: $286.50
BTN: $261.35

Preflop: Hero is dealt 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (6 Players)
MORAN!!!11!! calls $2.00, MP raises to $9.00, CO calls $9.00, BTN folds, SB calls $8.00, Hero folds, MORAN!!!11!! calls $7.00

Flop: ($38) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 Players)
SB bets $15.00, MORAN!!!11!! calls $15.00, MP raises to $60.00, 2 folds, MORAN!!!11!! raises all-in to $194.00, MP calls all-in for $93.60
Uncalled bet of $40.40 returned to MORAN!!!11!!

Turn: ($360.20) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players - 2 All-In)

River: ($360.20) Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players - 2 All-In)

Pot Size: $360.20 ($3 Rake)

MP had A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (two pair, Aces and Queens) and WON (+$194.60)
MORAN!!!11!! had 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (two pair, Aces and Queens) and LOST (-$162.60)

Wow...now I'm really tempted to call. Still think it's really close though. Flip a coin?

Huh? I think that makes it a fairly standard call considering how light he stacked off there.

The only hand we beat he could play that way is JQ.
But I would expect him to raise the flop with a Jx type of hand and I don't really see him calling the flop bet with many Qx type hands except QT.
Also the fact that he waited the turn to go crazy usually means one of two things:
- he slowplayed what he considers being a monster (a 9 or a FH in this spot)
- he got hit hard by the turn card.
I still fold this, but I one of my leak is definitely folding too much.
