Default 30 NL - 6max - KK stupid spot

I'm playing TAG 20/17/3 villain in the hand is a bad laggro monkey 42/20/2. I know standard is to raise pre but I wanted to give him a chance to hang himself. Plan was to check raise all in on the flop but he doesn't bet so I was gonna do it on the turn when he does it for me... now I'm confused

i find it hard to believe that your aggression factor is 3 given this hand. i hardly even know what to say given the action, but your hand is really really under-represented at this point. ugh. i guess it helps that he's a bad laggro monkey to make a call, but still.

What's the problem? You wanted to play this hand fancy, he hang himself on the turn and now you call, I think this hand is quite obvious.

How does the fact that he overbet shoves affect this all?

I probably call only because you have massively under-represented your hand.

I don't exactly know what he could have. I think it is likely he picked up some sort of combo draw on the turn or a pair plus a draw. If he has a set, and decided to play it like this, I'm paying him off.

Just call. There is no way he can put you on an overpair. My guess is that he has a jack and is trying to protect against a flush or maybe he is on a draw and thinks he can fold you out since you havent shown any strength. Anyway, i dont think your behind very often. I expect a set to bet small to try and get something out of the hand, not to push like this.

I assume/hope the plan was to CRAI the flop. Leading is still better. As played, you must bet the turn! There is absolutely no reason to believe villain will bet here and him checking behind a second time is a complete disaster for your hand. You got super, super lucky that he pushed and I snap-call this.

You got him to hang himself. If he's got a set, then he played it horribly and got lucky (or seriously read your soul).

3bomb PF, alot of these players will get it in pf with hands like A2o but not on a flop where they miss. I believe you're missing value flatting PF
