Default 55 like?

opening villan is tight. like 17/12 over a very small sample. i don't think he's that tight though. he hasn't played a tremendous amt of hands yet. other cold caller is tight as well, regular who runs like 19/16/3. they likely view me as a tag reg who can get aggro at times.

If I call the flop I'm raising the turn 100%, but I usually just raise the flop

Every river above a 6 is some degree of bad, as is any diamond or spade.

I would think that means there's not a lot of merit to calling the turn.

Agree, although I'm hesitant to say I "usually" raise flop here -- depends on opponent to some degree. Granted, I typically play AdXd like that and some other holdings like that, but I think orange's flop call may be read-dependent (e.g. that he's up against 2 tighties). Orange, be I correct?

I think this line is a lot stronger than a flop raise b/c he can convince himself you have all sorts of FDs/combo draws if you raise the flop.

I agree. Flop raises get less respect especially if board is drawerey. Then you can allow him to c/r you off your "draw" on turn.

Oops. I meant I disagree. Didn't read it right.
Villian is also gonna suspicious that your bluffing the ace too I would think.

i'd agree if this is heads up, but we want a little action from the other guy. + the line is pretty strong with someone left to act

With this being a multiway pot I really don't think there's any way you can play your hand without your line looking super strong. I can't really decide between raise flop and raise turn, so that probably means it's pretty close as to which one is better. I'm inclined to raise flop to juice the pot before any potential scare cards on turn (scary for you OR villain, i.e. any broadway or diamond).
