Just get a CC and buy stuff that you can pay off when you get the bill. It doesn't matter what the interest rate is if you can pay it off. After you do this for a while you shouldn't have any credit problems. The key is paying off the bill when you get it and not just paying the minimum. If you have a problem controlling your spending then a CC isn't the best thing for you.

omg people im not looking for lessons on building my credit. I have a meeting with the landlord tommorrow and hell prob do a credit check. right? Ive never had a loan or a credit card but i have rented a place for a year with the utilities in my name so im curious if ill have any credit or if i will have to get someone to cosign.

Tell him that you're trying to keep everything in your name but if it doesn't work out that you have a co-signer lined up(assuming you do.) If you had a place for 1 year with everything in your name I don't see any problem.

If not do they check past renting stuff as well because i always paid on time. My parents did cosign on the rent there though.

Me her and another guy. I met her bf but he lives like 100 miles away. Shes smokin.
Huge beat: house is for sale so ill prob have to move again in 2 months but this place is so badass i dont care.
