Default same output on tv and another monitor w/ 7600gt

I've got a 7600gt on my desktop pc and it's currently hooked up to my 42" TV. I would also like to hook up my 20" monitor so that I have the option of using the monitor when I need to if I'm watching TV or gaming on the TV without unplugging/plugging DVI cables. How does this work?

Plug both into the video card, right click on the desktop > Properties > Settings tab. Right click on the display that is greyed out and select "Attached." I'm not sure if you can extend the desktop across a TV and monitor, but it doesn't sound like that is what you want anyways, so leave that box unchecked. The same picture should show up on both the TV and monitor, so use whichever you please.
