Lasted maybe 3 min. He hit me, I hit him and he went down for a second but I was an idiot for not figuring out that he had 4-5 guys standing right next to him. I went down quick after getting hit a few times by them and then continued to get kicked while I was down.

It was broken up by the bar tender coming outside and yelling something which I'm not sure what it was.

Have to agree with this. Understandable if getting laid hinged on you defending her but she (and you) should have laughed it off otherwise.

Yeah there's no way it lasted 3 minutes. 3 minutes is a looong time. Fights aren't that long. Was probably more like 45 seconds but I can certainly understand how that would feel like 3 minutes when you're getting kicked in the teeth and throat.
