Re: Hand from TS 6m
why is it hard to believe that he does this with a flush draw?
you can't imagine the not 100% unreasonable thought process of 'if he had anything he would have bet the flop, he's just trying to buy this pot' |

I can imagine all kinds of things Funkii. Obviously nothing is impossible, he could think the things you are saying, etc.
In my opinion, he has a strong hand. If you think after three hands this kid is capable of that kind of move, by all means shove away. Online you may be right, but I just dont agree in this situation. |

He has to have exactly 99 imo. If he has a set, do you really think hed play it this way? Check flop and 250 into 750 on the turn? |

[/ QUOTE ] well your raise seems very strong. you have 3(?) players left to act behind you still, and you're not afraid to raise. Hes not trying to push you off your hand here - i would think 33, 99, AJ are all possible hands that he can show down. QTcc or something with a ton of outs is possible too. Its just not one pair or a bare FD very often. ...at least thats what ive noticed in my 3days playing the TS games. |

Re: Hand from TS 6m
To me it seems like A9, maybe A3. AJ woulda probably reraised utg, esp 5 handed. He may have intended to c/r flop but you failed to take a stab and denied him that move, hence the turn lead out on his part. Conversely, your failure to bet the flop (when checked to you on the button) denies you any info. I think you coulda saved yourself a tough decision if you'd bet the flop. On the turn you have to fold, but the size of his c/r bugs me..probably because it's just about perfect.
[ QUOTE ] Like 3 hands in yesterday, both me and villain have played like 2/3 of the pots. He is early 20s, seems possibly decent, no real read. 5k stacks all around, i have slightly more he has slightly less UTG 5 handed raises to 150 (25/50). Villain calls, I call on the button w/ J9o blinds both call. 5 way to the flop. Flop is AJ3 rainbow. Checked around Turn is a 9 of clubs putting up 2 clubs. Checked to CO who bets 250, I raise to 800, folds back to him and he makes it 2k straight. I... [/ QUOTE ] |
