i usually love a quickie, but they usually only cost me $400 or so
this time, it was much more expensive.
so i'm hanging around manhattan with nothing to do, so i call up my friend jsnipes. i come to his crib and decide to do a short little PLO session. we decide to go halves. some donkey takes a bunch off us at 10/20 PLO so we decide to shortstack 200/400. We play one hand there, the BB, which is apparently the worst position. It doesn't go so well. A series of PLO and NLH two outers and one outers send us to our eventual demise. Final tally: <400 hands, -18k total. Key hands: Full Tilt Poker - Pot Limit Omaha Cash Game - $200/$400 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter) LarsLuzak: $132,906.00 Hero: $8,000.00 GrimHogun: $4,200.00 David Benyamine: $71,517.00 EDEE: $51,076.00 Preflop: Hero is dealt 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (5 Players) 2 folds, EDEE raises to $1,400.00, LarsLuzak raises to $4,600.00, Hero raises all-in to $8,000.00, EDEE folds, LarsLuzak calls $3,400.00 Flop: ($17400) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players - 1 All-In) Turn: ($17400) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players - 1 All-In) River: ($17400) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players - 1 All-In) Pot Size: $17,400.00 ($2 Rake) Hero had 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (two pair, Aces and Fives) and LOST (-$8,000.00) LarsLuzak had 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (flush, 9 high) and WON ($8,000.00) Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $5/$10 Blinds - 2 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter) Hero: $2,239.90 runyouallday: $1,248.00 Preflop: Hero is dealt 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players) runyouallday raises to $30.00, Hero raises to $90.00, runyouallday calls $60.00 Flop: ($180) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero bets $180.00, runyouallday calls $180.00 Turn: ($540) 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero checks, runyouallday bets $287.00, Hero raises all-in to $1,969.90, runyouallday calls all-in for $691.00 Uncalled bet of $0.00 returned to Hero River: ($2496) A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players - 2 All-In) Pot Size: $2,496.00 ($0.50 Rake) runyouallday had 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (a straight, Seven high) and WON (+$1,247.50) Hero had 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (three of a kind, Sixes) and LOST (-$1,248.00) Full Tilt Poker - Pot Limit Omaha Cash Game - $10/$20 Blinds - 2 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter) danny28288: $3,421.00 Hero: $4,158.50 Preflop: Hero is dealt 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero raises to $60.00, danny28288 calls $40.00 Flop: ($120) A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players) danny28288 checks, Hero bets $120.00, danny28288 calls $120.00 Turn: ($360) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players) danny28288 checks, Hero bets $360.00, danny28288 raises to $1,440.00, Hero raises all-in to $3,978.50, danny28288 calls all-in for $1,801.00 Uncalled bet of $737.50 returned to Hero River: ($6842) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players - 2 All-In) Pot Size: $6,842.00 ($0.50 Rake) Hero had 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (two pair, Aces and Eights) and LOST (-$3,421.00) danny28288 had A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (three of a king, Kings) and WON (+$3,421.00) And then, this beauty: After his full pot I turn to Snipes and say "if he has a straight flush, we're drinking.
