I just read on wiki that you don't actually kill them, something weird about only taking ADAM from them and them dying as a consequence.

Demo was great, but was totally blown away by the clips at the end. It seems so chaotic I hope I'll be able to get used to it.

wow...I'm so scared...played for like 25 minutes...didnt finish the demo yet...but wow...scary...very intense

I had doubts until i played the demo. Holy crap is this game insane.

What was up with the womens bathroom at one point where your display got all static-y and some sort of ghost appeared? I ran in and quickly ran out, just great great atmosphere. Reminds me heavily of an updated version of System Shock 2, but the video at the end makes it look like it gets more insane.

I played it for about half an hour today. Great atmosphere, but I found the gameplay to be a little basic. After playing games like Call of Duty 2 and Gears of War the FPS elements didnt seem to be all that innovative. But its hard to tell from a half hour play session what will come in future levels. Anything exciting that I missed?

Wow... that was awesome. So much fun hacking the security camera and then sitting by the water in that area where the alarm goes off. All the splicers hop into the water on their way down. If I didn't manage to electrocute them in the water then the security bot comes and finishes them. lol

This game delivers.

No idea what's up with the ghost. Did you get the flame plasmid at the end of the bathroom?

No, I ran out of there after seeing the ghost, wasn't sure whether or not I was supposed to be in there and then wandered through the door in the mens bathroom and continued the level. God, I'm a video game pussy.

downloaded this last night - all i can say is wow.

only got to wait a couple of weeks (UK) then I can go out and get this and Madden - goodbye life

If you want to activate the blacked out 'Hard' mode, you can.

Before starting the demo, go to your gamer profile in the dashboard and then change your default game settings. Go to general, then change your difficulty to hard.

Now when you start the demo, hard should be highlighted when you have the option to select your difficulty. Don't move the cursor or you will not be able to select hard again, unless you go back (B)
