If you were really trying to help people make informed decisions you wouldn't only start threads about the bad PS3 games. What about Warhawk which has gotten pretty good reviews? Also it's a bit early to be calling Heavenly Sword a flop, on gamerankings.com it has an average of 83% so far.

All the "pretty good" reviews for Warhawk are coming from apologists. I read IGN's review of it and repeatedly you find the phrases "for the money" "for what it is" "decent" etc.

Edit: Plus Warhawk was never touted as a big game for the PS3. Lair was originally supposed to be huge and push consoles/be generally awesome. Dire is just pointing out that another big PS3 exclusive sucks donkey nuts

Like mentioned, I'm really just posting against misconceptions. Lair was touted as a system selling game that was going to stand at the top of this generation. Turns out its one of the worst games made this generation, or of any generation for that matter. The consensus is unclear on Heavenly Sword, as it was also hyped up to a similar degree and so far just isn't delivering on that hype at all.

Warhawk was not particularly hyped. Excepting a few fanboys running around screaming "wowhawk, wowhawk, wowhawk" everywhere, most people were expecting a decent multiplayer only budget FPS and it's delivered as expected.

Wow Dire i know you are a hack but claiming Lair is one of the worst games of any generation? Please. Is it extremely disappointing? Yes, very much so. But its certainly not one of the worst games ever.

Its worth noting almost every review of Lair agrees that visually it is somewhat impressive, the story and presentation are good and the sound is good. So its not like its some down the toilet 100% trash.

Lair is rated 58 on metacritic.

There are 40 Xbox 360 games rated worse.

Give it time. There haven't been too many reviews yet so Play Magazine's little fib is still being weighted pretty heavily. I can't remember the last time a game so hyped was so universally bashed. Enter the Matrix I guess?

Enter The Matrix was reviewed as having zero pluses minus the movie connection. Lair has had quite a few compliments in reviews. Keep reaching. Your bias is obvious.
