STT Huge Blinds -shoveshoveshove
Heads up in a 9-man SnG.
I was short for awhile 3 and 4 handed but many well-timed shoves eventually got me contending for 1st. After I ko'd 3rd place and had like, a 1000 chip advantage (300/600 blinds) I stopped calling/standard-raising. If i was going to play, I shoved. After the blinds jumped up to 400/800 I made a conscious decision to shove everytime I was in the SB, regardless of my cards. It worked eventually and I won, but is this bad strategy? -eroc |

Re: STT Huge Blinds -shoveshoveshove
its not bad; when your heads up with short stacks the only move is all in or fold. there isnt enough money in play to do anything else.

Re: STT Huge Blinds -shoveshoveshove
1000 chip lead at 3-6 is basically nothing, id be pushing anything reasonable. headsup all you can do is shove with those blinds.

I limp atc at 300/600, ppl check the flop you bet 900 on any flop and take the pot, works so often at least at lower buy ins.

Re: STT Huge Blinds -shoveshoveshove
as soon as the BB> 1/10th of your stack, you can start shoving like 60% from the SB.
