Hmmm. This is beginning to make me wonder if my thermostat is [censored] up.

We keep our stat at 78 in the summer (move it to 76 and we freeze), and 68 in the winter. Thinking about it, our stat must read high, because it seems to me that 68 in the winter would be awfully warm for a heavy sweatshirt, sweats, socks, slippers, etc (normal winter house clothes).

I used to work in a barn and my gf is a nit about bills/the ac. I won that argument because it was hotter than hell in the loft of the barn, and there's nothing worse than sweating all day and then coming home to sweat in your own house. Infuriating.

In college I had a roommate that borrowed or stole my stuff all the time without asking. I even told him I didn't mind if he had a soda, or a box of mac n cheese, etc, as long as he asked first. He still just took stuff, including using my shampoo in the shower. I peed in the shampoo and kept a bottle in my room. He washed his hair with the shampoo for most of the rest of the semester.
