ok i guess it wasn't that interesting - anyways i folded and he showed me 45o. excellent. i should have realized his pot sized bet on the flop made it less likely he had the stone nuts on 678r but i wasn't thinking clearly.

the reason i ask about turn plan was he said if i had called he would have shut down. but there's no way to know that and it's sort of a ridiculous thought.

i thought his play was pretty bad in the hand with the action (limped pot and 5 people giving tons of action) but i guess he gets the straight he's waiting for, gotta push it pretty hard... or something.

Hey Duck,
I'm not sure that the pot size bet on the flop is such an indicator that he wouldn't have the stone nuts. To me I think his weakish four but would indicate more so that he did have the nuts rather than the 45 that can easily be outdrawn. Of course I would have been wrong so its shows what i know. Just curious as to your reasoning...

He can def play a set like this.I can't find a fold here.

i really dont ever think this is a set very much if this is the club i played at. some live players just wont ever put in another raise without the str8 here, but the fact he COULD have a set, as well as a lower str8, i think you should call.
