[ QUOTE ]
Ive read recomondations against drinking protein shakes. I think it was in Natural mind Natural Health by Weil but not sure.

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't know what the negatives are, and there probably are some, but it's probably less negative than not getting enough protein, which is what my alternative would be.

scary,

set/rep numbers are determined by goals...for strenght less reps, maybe the 1-5 range, for hypertrophy 8-12 range, above for endurance...of course the younger you are in training age the lower percentage of 1rm you can use and still gain strength...

I asked in Thremp's thread if it was standard just to use the 1 dumbbell weight

[/ QUOTE ]

Depends on the exercise. I think for the one you asked and most. Its std to use one. But lunge is def a combined total. Some anomamlies exist in WL.

Didn't HIIT yesterday but I'm a lazy bastard. Standard.

Deadlifts

3x6x135

Comment: So today I come in and all the bars are empty. I hate putting plates on bars on the ground. I've got no idea what I'm doing.

Bench Press

1x8x95
1x5x95
1x4x95

Military Press

1x8x55
1x6x55
1x4x55

Dumbbell Lunges

2x10x90
1x6x90

Lateral Pulldowns

1x6x90
1x5x90
1x4x90

scary,

when i have to add weight to a barbell for deads it depends what station im at, if im at the squat rack i just place it on the bars and load my first plate, then move it to the ground and load the rest...

at a power rack you can place it on the pins or on the bars and load the first plate, then put it on the ground...at least thats what i do...

What if you're at the platform?

My gym is like that except without those little things in front of the guy that look like they could be helpful for loading the bar. It's always a pain.

Doing it on a platform like this, but there's no rack anywhere.

Doesn't really matter as I have my last final tomorrow so I have to go find a new gym anyways. :O So probably no lifting for a while.

Am I the only one that sees a huge metal rack behind both these guys?

At my gym there's 3 dudes working out in that rack. Plus there is no rack.
