He easily has a busted draw the 25% of the time needed.

I think he wakes up on the flop or turn with just about anything that beats you.

Sometimes he has 89 or 45, but oh well.

He could even be betting ATss or something for value.

Besides, if he IS bluffing a whiffed draw, his bet is a great size.

His main target with the bluff should be other whiffed draws, which obviously (usually) fold to most any bet, so he might as well make it on the small side.

If you checked, planning on check calling, he probably expects you to call most any bet, so why would he bet so small, for value?

Looks very much like he has the 6 at least or 67 for the little milking bet.

I usually reraise preflop, but sometimes I call. As tempted as I am to always do it, I don't really like the flop lead. I think river is a call for sure.

i like all streets and c/c river.

i'd probably bet a little more on the flop though.

c/r flop is an option too, of course, but often enough the raiser won't c-bet into both of you light on a flop like that.

ok kratzer sees right through me, i was actually the villain in this hand because the hero of the hand was too lazy to post it but i thought jacks had an interesting decision on every street.

i personally hate a river call and am surprised you guys like it. i dont know what you think bb (me) is calling full pot on the turn with the CO still left to act with.

i would have rr preflop prob but not all the time, and if i led flop it would be for more and then less on the turn. i dont think this turn bet allows anyone to really show up with anything worse very often, in all honesty.

anyway i think kratzer is right and the river should be a check/fold. maybe because it was small you can hope it is busted draw, but WHAT? 89 even gets there.

so yeah i was bb and i made a value bet with 33 which i rarely rarely do... i usually bet like 3/4 on bluffs and value bets alike. but i thought this was a clear check fold and that the only way hero would look me up is if i bet a fishy small amount. im still not convinced hero should call because no one has assessed a range. saying "missed draws" isn't good enough if you can't put me on a decent range of missed draws that calls the turn bet.
