I think you messed up the flop pretty bad. I'd lead.

Normally, I'd agree, but with MP the pre-flop raiser to act next I wouldn't want to risk him blowing out the field with a raise. The mistake was not 3-betting SB right there in the event SB has a 9 with a weaker kicker. That's where you'd like to get your action in. Now you let the turn kill your kicker without putting in another bet.

As played, I would definitely raise the river and call the 3-bet. In limit poker especially you can't be scared of monsters under the bed.

I would go for a c/r on the flop, too, but 3bet it when it comes 2 back to me.

what does he call with that i beat?

A 6 for the lower boat. And, given the way you played the hand, 77 or 88.

Doesn't make sense for SB, a "good player," to be checkraising the flop with 66. Raise river.

I'd probably take my skirt off and throw in some bets somewhere. I think leading the flop is a good start.

i am sorta shocked at the responses.

if i CR 3bet the flop I clearly have a 9. I think maybe sb will call me with an overpair and check fold the turn. Otherwise the only had that calls me is another 9.

Evan, I really like leading the flop, I usually do. I knew that MP was betting, and the button, bb, and limper were awful (5 card flop type awful). So I was planning to CR the field.

On the turn I want to keep MP in. If I raise I only push MP out and I am not sure what SB will call with. Certainly he mucks a overpair, most likely a 6 too.

On the river I dont ever think MP would bet a hand like TT, 88, 77, 6x, etc. What the hell do I call him with. He is much better off checking to induce vs me. Plus, when I raise the river he doesnt call with any of these hands.

Raise the freakin' river. And on top of that, if this is a player you see a lot try doing some funky stuff once every million years. Raise the river with a missed draw just once, and he'll pay you through his nose till the end of time.

Regardless, it should be you doing the betting on this hand, not the sb. Lead the flop call the flop raise, and check raise everyone on the turn.
