Default Buzz\'s to-do list

I opened Buzz's Nov article and the first thing I read was...

[ QUOTE ]
This article concludes the post-flop series...

[/ QUOTE ]

I've been reading his series of articles with a great deal of interest, a great deal of effort and a great deal of admiration, but all this time I've been thinking about what I consider the most interesting flop situation in Omaha 8:

What happens when the flop comes down and an ace hits the board.

The ace is a high card; it's a low card; it's an enabling card; it's a scare card. It can give you top pair when you don't want it; it can make or break anyone. It brings both hope and despair.

Personally, I think "Flops Containing Aces" needs to be Buzz's next assignment. His post-flop masterpiece won't be complete without it.

You’re absolutely right, Mack.

When Bryan suggested I write something about post flop play, I thought of a different way to look at post flop play. I thought I might finish in one article. But once I started writing, I realized I could not finish the complete and inclusive approach I wanted in one article. I thought maybe it would take three articles. Then, after I started the second article, I realized it would take at least four. And then I was really cramming stuff in on the last two, so as to at least finish in six.

But to finish in six articles, I did intentionally avoid prototype flops with aces.

You nailed it.

I’ll come up with something for aces and try to make it interesting and anecdotal this time. I’m not sure if Bryan will include it for December, but I’ll send it to you if he doesn’t.

Thanks Mack.
