Sorry my fault, I turned on the game after ignoring the whole inning. I wish we had just lost 10 to 3. Ugh

Re: ****Official 2007 NY Mets NL East Champs Thread****
i dont care that he hred in the 9th and that it is a pennant race
reyes should sit tomorrow for his bonehead mental lapse on defense and almost getting picked off down by 5 runs and wtf with chavez running there. a good tag and he is out. does willie have no control over them or does he make that call go bravos |

Althoguh I KNEW Delgado was gonna strike out anyway, I'm sure Chavez running didn't help. I mean if you have a chance to steal 3rd early in the at bat fine but on 1-2 wtf is the pt? Unreal I think these games are scripted

Matty Cerrone could not say it better.
[ QUOTE ] at the same time, we’re tired of cheering, and tired of the post-game cliches, but we know this crazy ride must continue, and so we have to keep watching, and believing, but we’re tired, and confused, but full of faith, and full of anger, and we’re dizzy, yet hopeful, and essentially just silent, exhausted, waiting for this insanity to resolve itself so we can either move on mentally and emotionally to the post-season, or to the off-season… [/ QUOTE ] |

Re: ****Official 2007 NY Mets NL East Champs Thread****
Ugggghhhh. That 9th inning was ridiculous. For some reason I'm actually encouraged by that 9th inning. I know I shouldn't be, but I am. I can't remember the last time I saw this team show their emotions and that fight like they did in the 9th last night (but where was it the rest of the game...hell where has it been the last month?). Seriously I can't remember the last time I've seen Jose Reyes and the rest of those jokers jumping around in the dugout like they did in the 9th yesterday. Let's see if they can carry it over to today.
P.S. Thank you Bravos! |

Re: ****Official 2007 NY Mets NL East Champs Thread****
My prediction of the moment:
Mets and Phillies will each lose 2 more games this week going into the last game of the season. Mets lose the finale to end up winning the division by one game. Then, Mets win the first round of the playoffs, and look pretty good doing it, just to raise our hopes. Then they revert to recent form and get blown out of the next series. |
