Default fool.com

Is fool.com worth subscribing to? Any positive/negative experiences you guys want to share?

If not, what other sources besides the typical newspaper publications do you guys turn to for fresh ideas?

Isn't it a free site? Or do you mean you are thinking of buying one of their newsletter/stock picking services?

Any other forums/constantly changing sites you can recommend? I'm sure it's been asked before but I suck at searching.

This forum doesn't offer much in the way of investment ideas/stocks to look at. All I see is reco's for index funds and the like, all of which I already know about.

Try TheRX.com investment forum, Agweb.com for rural real estate and commodity information, and bankrate.com for a variety of ideas.

The fool is very, very good. I'm an equity analyst and I can tell you for a fact that it's one of the main sources where we get our ideas from. IMO, it's worth it for two reasons. First, you're told about stocks that are very solid and will help out your portfolio. Second, and maybe more importantly, the posts there will teach you HOW to invest: strong FCF, stable earnings, high growth, competitive advantage, etc.
