i actually kind of like the dollar amount. i dont see how raising to $32 (as opposed to $28) changes FE here. in fact, $28 seems to look a little more sneaky for some reason. to me the bet kind of announces "i know you have KK and i'm gonna value bet you to death because i have an ace." plus, $28 instead of $32 saves you $4 if he pushes over the top of you. i dont see how you can call if he shoves on you here.

[/ QUOTE ]

well you dont want him to keep calling and having you force yourself into betting the turn and river as a bluff now do you?

i personally feel that you betting the $32, rather than the $28 amount, would be more intimidating to the villin. even that small little increase of $4 it looks much bigger than it really is. its practically the same reason stores try to price something as $1.99/$2.99/$3.99 etc etc; it makes it look cheaper than it really is.

fold preflop

wtf? are you deliberately trolling bad advice?

uminchu: against a thinking player like this i like this play a lot. I'd rather raise to $32 to be able to push him off a jack/QQ/KK.

This is lol.

This is a pre-flop fold.

All you hope-a-trons with pocket pairs and 80bb stacks, lol.

yeah i would fold this pf unless there was major blind stealing war going on.

i like the flop raise given his weak bet. raise to over 30 though.

Given stacks...PF is really bad unless this guy is defending like every [censored] time you open the CO/button.

I can't believe everyone is saying fold preflop to a 2 1/2 time 3bet.

This is a standard call for me especially when you're in position.

Seems ridiculously nitty to fold this hand to such super duper huge raise.

given the weak lead i like the raise, but make sure you dont put anymore money in if he just calls. i get tempted to bet again on the turn if he calls here and its generally spew when i do.
