Re: Brag, my nit roomate is gone and we turned the ac down to 68
68 is greatness. 70 or even 72 are fine, but 75 is ridiculous. My friend's parents keep his house at like 78 and it feels like a furnace. I don't even think my grandparents keep it on 80 and they run space heaters year round.

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] and seriously 68??? jesus christ i live in vegas and 74 is pretty much freezing, i do have a digital thermostat that measures temp, but 68?? [/ QUOTE ] I agree. I set mine at 73 at night and it's pretty frigid. His thermostat must not work so good. [/ QUOTE ] Lol at 73 and 74 being frigid. [/ QUOTE ] Obviously depends on the house. I have my apartment set at 75 24/7. Any lower and the fridge becomes the suana. However, at my parents' house, having the AC anywhere above 70 = hell. |

Re: Brag, my nit roomate is gone and we turned the ac down to 68
[ QUOTE ]
I used to work in a barn and my gf is a nit about bills/the ac. I won that argument because it was hotter than hell in the loft of the barn, and there's nothing worse than sweating all day and then coming home to sweat in your own house. Infuriating. [ QUOTE ] Jack off in his shampoo bottle. But don't tell him. [/ QUOTE ] In college I had a roommate that borrowed or stole my stuff all the time without asking. I even told him I didn't mind if he had a soda, or a box of mac n cheese, etc, as long as he asked first. He still just took stuff, including using my shampoo in the shower. I peed in the shampoo and kept a bottle in my room. He washed his hair with the shampoo for most of the rest of the semester. [/ QUOTE ] wow greatest revenge story I have ever heard and pretty sick too lol |
