Re: 2/5 live deep - 2nd nuts
[ QUOTE ]
ok i guess it wasn't that interesting - anyways i folded and he showed me 45o. excellent. i should have realized his pot sized bet on the flop made it less likely he had the stone nuts on 678r but i wasn't thinking clearly. the reason i ask about turn plan was he said if i had called he would have shut down. but there's no way to know that and it's sort of a ridiculous thought. i thought his play was pretty bad in the hand with the action (limped pot and 5 people giving tons of action) but i guess he gets the straight he's waiting for, gotta push it pretty hard... or something. [/ QUOTE ] Hey Duck, I'm not sure that the pot size bet on the flop is such an indicator that he wouldn't have the stone nuts. To me I think his weakish four but would indicate more so that he did have the nuts rather than the 45 that can easily be outdrawn. Of course I would have been wrong so its shows what i know. Just curious as to your reasoning... |

He can def play a set like this.I can't find a fold here. [/ QUOTE ] i really dont ever think this is a set very much if this is the club i played at. some live players just wont ever put in another raise without the str8 here, but the fact he COULD have a set, as well as a lower str8, i think you should call. |
