Best Weekend Tourneys in LA?
I'm thinking about playing in some tourneys over the next few weekends and was wondering which were the best ones in LA? I'm talking about buyins from $100 - $300 range. Saturdays or Sundays only please.

Hawaiian Gardens - Sunday - Chips $1,000 No Limit Hold Em 12:45 PM $100.00 $25.00 One Optional - $100 Rebuy $10,000
Hustler has a Saturday tournament also, but it's for a WSOP seat.

I've only played it once, and if I remember correctly the rounds were 25 minutes, 10k guarantee, 1 table got paid, and the field was around 90-100 people. First usually takes home about 4500.
Also, Nomandie has the Midnight Madness every night $50 + $10 buy in, 3k starting chips, rounds are 30 minutes for the first 3 levels, after that it's 20 minute levels. 2k guaranteed, field is very small, between 20-30 players every night, first takes $1k.

Thanks. I'll give HG a call and make sure that it is still on. I won't play Normandie tourneys because I believe that there was some dishonest chip play going on in their Sunday tourneys a while back. I posted about it over a year ago.

How many tables do you typically get for the Saturday shootout and if you have less than 10 do you fill the FT with high stacks remaining? Also, is there a guarantee? How long are the rounds? Also, if you can could you post the blind schedule? The Sunday tourney runs too late for me but I'll keep it in mind for Monday work holidays if we're in town.
