Clearly the "good intentions" of UIGEA's supporters was a talking point.

I think it is a really good idea for us to echo this in our calls/emails to Reps as well as in casual conversation. Not only does it make us look reasonable, I'm sure it is true for a lot of members of Congress (I hate to say it, but I include Goodlatte and Leach).
