OP's new avatar:

OBV w/ "strong men also cry" title.

[/ QUOTE ]

This is goddamned brilliant.

[/ QUOTE ]
Yes, that is outstanding.

I prefer "Are you surprised at my tears, sir?" as an undertitle. Dude?

Cardo,

Do you cry a lot or is it more just bitching and moaning?

[/ QUOTE ]

Definitely the latter - if that statistic is to be believed my cry rate is at or below the average. I still feel like that's pretty high, though. I mean, I get choked up watching Ken Burns.

[/ QUOTE ]

doesn't everybody get choked up watching ken burns? his latest documentary is about a war for christ's sake.

tuq,

I've never much cared for your posting style.

I can't believe a caricature like he portrays online actually exists. "Smoking pole", referring to women all the time "broads"...sup bro?

Hmm. To be fair I say 'broads,' 'chicks,' 'dames,' 'skirts,' 'chickens,' 'yitches,' etc. b/c I like my slang with a strong hit of the ridiculous.

I think my personal all-time low was getting teary-eyed while watching the video for Good Charlotte's "Hold On" at like 2am on MTV a few years ago.

Constantine,

He was joking. FWIW after this post I am headed out to meet some broads and hopefully get my pole smoked, meanwhile let's get back to The Dude posting about how he is The Chick.

I think the teariest Ken Burns moment is, by far, the scene in... Chapter Three? I think? of The Civil War, at the end of the episode, right after the Emancipation Proclamation, when they're doing the montage of 'pic of beaten-down slave + pic of same 'Gro decked out in US Army attire, standing tall for his people' and it's like HELL YEAH EAT [censored] PEACHY and then they get to the drummer boy, and... whew. Not a dry eye in the house. And there's that super-awesome rendition of the Battle Hymn playing with it... oh man. Little dusty in here.
