Re: im expected to bet but shoukd i? $20 buy in
I would...I mean I'm betting here pretty much every time, so I don't really see a reason why not to. Checking may get a single bet slightly more often, but I think the times he just floats and the times we get raised cover that. I also think we get more money from bluffs just leading initially than from a c/c lead turn line or a c/c check turn line. If we bet the flop then we can check the turn or lead again if the turn is scary. If the flop checks through we could find ourselves in an unpleasant spot pretty quickly. I just like leading, I mean if he doesn't have anything and isn't particularly inclined to play back at us then there's not much we can do anyway. Finally, a check from an aggressive player in this spot would spook me more than a bet I think.

bet 90 and hope he'll raise with a 9/draw/air...this flop gives him so much room to make a move, so bait him.

Bet 150, pray he is the bluffing type or hit the 9.

Re: im expected to bet but shoukd i? $20 buy in
Yeah, bet 120-150. Basically, it's as registrar said in an earlier post - if he has a mid pair, a 9, or a draw, you want to get the most out of him, not squeak out a little bit on a later street. It's a blind battle and he's in position, so maybe he puts a move. There are plenty of draws or mid pairs that will pay you off for at least once street here if they don't RR you first.

Bet 150, pump your fist when he shoves over you, thinking he can get you off AK?

Bet 150ish looks good to me. I think on a blank turn I might c/r any thoughts on that?

Re: im expected to bet but shoukd i? $20 buy in
120 to 150ish camp for me...very rarely if ever do I check...maybe if I have a read that the BB likes to stab but even then he will think that this board missed you and that you are just following up...if he folds...he folds
