T9 bottom straight - Weird Turn Action
$5/10 NL at Venetian
Effective Stacks $1400 Hero has been playing TAG for a while, Villain just sat down 1 orbit ago, and neither he or I know much about each other's play. Hero is in the BB with T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], watches 4 limp, and checks his option. Flop ($50) : J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Hero bets $50, everybody folds, villain in the CO calls. Turn ($150) : 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Hero bets $150, this is where things got interesting. Villain stares me down, thinks, reaches for his chips to count out a call, stares me down again, and announces "raise". He raises $200 more. Hero? (about $1200 left) |
