Most of the lapdances I have had have cost me £20 ($40). What is the going rate in a strip joint in America?

lol, I agree with Howard about picking the black strippers, however I'm not sure I'll always go for the less hot stripper on the premise that she will have to work harder to keep my attention... to some degree I would do this, maybe picking the 3rd to 5th hottest strippers out of 8. But I really don't want the oldest, baggiest, nastiest ho they've got coughing out her gross-ass Wendy's breath my way either.

In my experiences, black strippers are more about the hustle, and try to give minimum mileage for maximum charge. Asian strippers give the best shoulder rubs. If a stripper shows signs of cocaine use, this is +EV.
Of course, I'm from Tampa, where the rule at Mons, the only strip club that matters, is "you can touch anywhere but my pussy". As for pricing, Mons is $20-$30, and that seems pretty standard in my limited experience. I've heard of places in Lauderdale charging $10, though.

Isura - not really - been to one in Bristol, one in Newquay, both of which are kind of countrified places. 20 quid for a lapdance in each, the strippers from the Bristol place didn't even take their knickers off! How much are the strippers in Vegas?

[/ QUOTE ] And this isn't so much a 'rule' as it is a recommendation, Mons is the greatest place on earth, which is why I barely ever go there, get into too much trouble. As far as I can tell between $10-$20 is standard for a lapdance, up to $30 at the best places.

Howard, my experiences with a black stripper has been exactly as you mentioned it. She definitely knew how to take care of the customer. The saying Once you go black, you don't go back is right on when it comes to strip clubs.
