Default Re: A question about sunglasses (fashion help)

Am I the only one to find sunglasses BY FAR the most ocnfusing fashion item? Hats, np. Shoes, np. Watches, shirts, jacket, slacks, jeans, hell socks np. I even wear regular prescription glasses normally and don't have a problem figuring out what looks good for my facial features. Sunglasses??!?!?!?? It's a [censored] mystery.

I am a big fan of either Maui Jim's or Revos. If you get the ones with titanium frames, they are sleek, and super lightweight.

classic shapes (like aviators) will always be fine. if you're trying to wear trendy looking glasses you really REALLY have to keep up because styles change super fast. also, sunglass looks might be more dependent on how you personally look than anything else, so you can't just buy what's cool this month, you also have to find something from that subset that looks good.

I bought some Ray Bans at Sunglass Hut the other day. Best purchase I've made this year.

Aviators are for two kinds of people:

1) Men over 45 who think they're genuinely fashionable.
2) Douchebags under 30 who wear them either ironically or because they enjoy doing what everyone else their age does.

otnemem is right.

I also agree with this: "Just buy something that you can lose or sit on and it won't be a big deal."

Well-constructed OP.

I have Ray-Ban Wayfarers, but everyone's getting them now and ruining the originality

Dude, you weren't the first person to ever wear Wayfarers. Stop pretending you're some kind of trendsetter.
