Default overpair flop fold

3/6 wpex, BB is not an out right maniac but plays a bit laggy. I could see him doing this with a pair and a draw or a str and flush draw w/ overs or something in addition to better made hands than mine. But i dont think he does it with A8 K8 or anything like that and he'd have 3bet any worse overpair preflop.

Sb is pretty honest post flop/nitty. Can i not release this yet?

hero raises black QQ otb, sb calls, bb calls

flop 8h 7h 6
sb checks, bb bets, hero raises, sb 3bets, bb caps, hero folds...

I don't think you can release here. Theres just 2 many pumpable draws and an A8 feels the urgent need to protect his had here. I'd call and the maybe fold if it comes 2 cold at me on the turn.

I can imagine hands doing this that you beat (like 99 or a nut flush draw) but I'd fold as well because it could be very expensive to find out. I suspect someone flopped a straight or a set.

It looks like a fold, but I'd have trouble doing it with an o/p.
