variance: parents getting divorced

i hesitate to call this a beat, it certainly isn't a brag.

anyway, my parents have been together 23 years and decided yesterday enough was enough.

i don't know if it's cuz the gravity of the situation hasn't hit me yet, or maybe because i'm feeling detached from the whole thing since i'm 22, but it hasn't really bothered me as much as one would expect their parents getting divorced would.

gonna suck for my little siblings (who haven't heard the news yet)

as long as it's not a complete surprise to them (e.g. it is obvious there has been conflict) it shouldn't be too bad. the worst part is if one parent moves far far away.

sucks. good for you they waited a while, i think its mainly bad on kids who still live at home cause they're more immature and get all the going back and forth issues.
