Here's my call for what happens:

We pick up next week with Peter freaking out while absorbing Ted's powers and, out of nowhere comes Invisible Man to knock him out (like we've seen before). Then HRG and Invisible Man realize they're now on the same side after some arguing and agree to work together.

Pretty sure Hiro flinched. The sword doesn't completely remove his confidence issues.

Right, but whereas comic books don't flip over their roster yearly, new stories and story arcs not involving the same characters come up all the time. Don't think of it as a single comic book, think of it as a group like Marvel or DC in which there are tons of characters and everyone gets their own story.

What did Peter tell Claire to use the gun for again? Shoot him through the back of the head, and that was going to kill him, or just incapacitate him? If its the former, i don't get how that'd work.

if the bullet lodged in his brain, he wouldn't be able to heal until someone removed it. but i think that a bullet fired at close range would go clear through peter's skull.

I don't know why she couldn't just shoot him anywhere in the head/brain-area, but apart from that why would it not work?

As we've seent twice so far, something lodged in the brain stops healing and they're "dead". So he figures it would kill him, for the time being at least.

And OMGITSMatt, I like the idea of new characters appearing and becoming important while some take a step back for a while, which is what is probably going to happen.

Crappy episode (though should note that I don't like this show nearly as much as any of you).

I don't know what they'll do for next year, I can't imagine them getting rid of someone like Hiro, but if we never see Jessica and DL again it will be far far too soon, they both need to get off my tv asap.

My NBC programming guide here at work says an 1 hour episode on 5/14 and 1 hour on 5/21. I've received no programming changes e-mails.
