Default raise this river? 25nl

Villan is 30/10/1 over 150 hands. I slowed down on the turn due to the 4 bet, are you betting this turn? How about the river? This guy has a pretty good limping range. It includes AT-T9, maybe T8, 22-99

If I check the turn, it's only to push it in on the river. I would bet on the run. Why call the raise on the flop... if only to just call the river bet on a dray board? I raise the turn... if not, I raise the river. But I am spewy. Interested to hear others.

punish him for limping preflop so raise there. Bet turn, push river. No reason to think he has you beat

I think it's fine. Trips (or 44) is the obvious thing that both you and Villain are representing, and your hand isn't such a monster anymore once you get 4-bet on the flop.

On the turn, Villain probably either was going for a tricky checkraise or got worried when you called that flop 4-bet. And if he's worried about that call, he may not be calling off too much more money. (Sure, it's possible you have him outkicked, but that could be the other way around, and we don't really expect him to stack off with 66, A4s, or AQ, do we?)

If you have even the slightest doubt that you have the best hand, then this line is best. Some pot control on the turn and a call on the river. However, if you think that you are usually good here, and that villain is the type to pay you off with some kind of T9 hand, then you have lost a lot of value. I personally would either bet the turn or raise the river, but either way, I would get more money in.

Whether you are ahead or not is not really something that we can help you with to any great extent, it comes down to your feel of the flow of the session and how you see your villain. If you have no information about him then I think that this line is fine.

Note to all posters that we are 200bb deep in this situation.

sick, it seems to me that if you want to raise for value then consequently u have to fold to a shove over because you are communicating that u have at least a ten and there is no way he will 3 bet river without a boat or aten imo

i pretty much just call because were deep
