Default TPMK OOP w/ Resistance

Villain is 30/16/5 over 73 hands, sufficient sample size i think. Any J or 10 on the river I win. Any 9 I chop. If river hadn't brought a club I would have been facing a value bet. What/if anything can I do differently on this hand. Simply fold preflop OOP against a LAG player with a decent suited ace? Would I normally raise the flop and/or turn here? Bluff the river representing clubs?

I think the only thing I might have done different is donking the turn. If raised on the turn I find a fold.

Raising on the flop is also an option, and if raised I would call and reevaluate on the turn. If you raise on the flop and he flat calls I B/F the turn.

Interested to hear others.

I think turn call is very marginal maybe break-even call. You're behind A9+ and don't have much of a chance to improve over these holdings.

It really depends on how active villain has been. If he has been very aggressive from position I'd consider 3-betting/squeezing PF.

I'm probably reraising pre-flop.

Only logical play i can think of. If I re-raise preflop and he calls I have to bet 3/4 pot on the flop hoping he misses 2 pair. Obvious the logic in re-raising preflop is to take it down right there, so would an acceptable reraise be around $4? Stars doesn't have a pot bet button, which I hate, so it makes it hard to calculate a correct pot raise when you're on other tables.

I like you. Lets be friends.

If you are gonna play either fold it out or 3 ball it.
