Default A10s flops TPTK vs. Snafu\'d

Villian here is Snafu'ed, 2+2er I have at 21/15 over 300ish hands. He's pretty good, seems to be one of the more intelligent players at this level imo. His line has me pretty confused here.

Full Tilt Poker, $0.25/$0.50 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players
LeggoPoker Hand History Converter

MP: $202.05
CO: $26.25
Hero (BTN): $49.25
SB: $277.60
BB: $50
UTG: $61.25

Pre-Flop: A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (BTN)
3 folds, Hero raises to $1.75, SB folds, BB calls $1.25

Flop: ($3.75) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
BB checks, Hero bets $2.50, BB calls $2.50

Turn: ($8.75) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
BB checks, Hero checks

River: ($8.75) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
BB bets $5.50, Hero calls $5.50

anyone play this any different? What range do you give him?

I think you missed alot of value in this hand. Why the turn check? Do you think you are beat or are you feigning weakness? What does this guy flat call out of the blinds with? I think you're missing alot of value out of hands like JT, QT, or draws like QJ, 78.

I'm new to NL, so forgive me if the question is elementary. But why did you check the turn? You have position and most likely the best hand. Where you afraid of a C/R? The 2 on the turn probably didn't help his hand and letting it check through gives him a free card and probably induced the river bet.

I would bet 3 on the flop, otherwise I think that you played this perfectly.

Was wondering if you would post this. I appreciate the compliment but I'm not sure I deserve it. 50nl has been a nightmare of a roller coaster for me. Anyway, I'm sure you were just as surprised with my hand as I was with yours at showdown.

I play it exactly the same...I have very few hands on villain but I doubt a weaker T makes up much of his range...Most hands that contain a T villain would've either folded PF or 3 bet an aggro button steal raise..If villain should have a T you are at best going to get 2 streets of value..I prefer the turn check for pot control and to induce bluffs and calls from weaker pairs...A turn check will maximize your value vs villain entire range + bluffs when a turn bet is likely to only be called or raised by a better hand...

your play is solid, but your definitly running bad from what I've seen. Don't tilt and focus on table selection, and you'll be fine.

I'm betting the turn here. He may have picked up a backdoor FD. Range is any PP, JQ, 78, a pair (w/ the board) or possibly a set.
