k, dids I will try and tone it down in bbv4l and just stick to notifying when I think it is important (although that annoys you too so I'm not really sure what to do if I see something)

I'm not annoyed by your notifies. I find them helpful because I do not open every single thread in BBV4L. I just don't blindly lock stuff when I receive them

yea, my notifies are more like 'hey take a look at this', could be something that needs direct action like profanity filter or baby eating, could be a potential problem poster to tag for future reference. I also usually leave a note in the posters notes if you are wondering why I am notifying.

See, I just don't really dig those kinda notifies. I'd rather not distrupt my work day to see a thread that isn't a problem yet.

Every thread in BBV4L is a potential problem in a way. I make it a point to respond to a notification ASAP because nobody needs to see horse porn any longer than they have to. So the non emergencies get annoying. Obviously part of this is just my own problem and nothing of your doing, so I'll try and not spaz out as much myself.

The Passman thing bugged me because I saw his PM, went to look for the thread and found it gone and I really hate when people try for takebacks because they didn't like how a thread turned out.

So dids and Gild, I am reading that the compromise is that threads that could potentially cause a problem, but are not yet a problem, should not be notified, but profanity, baby eating, etc should be notified as usual. Correct?

i dunno

like for example, I notified the ericw thread today as in 'hey, it's ericw trolling again'. I know you aren't going to take action on it because that's your decision on ericw but it's important to flag, imo.

Dids,

Thoughts on this one. http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showfl...;gonew=1#UNREAD

My inclination is to delete it upon sight.
