Default Whee two pairs... [censored].

Villain is 25/17/2, is very active on the button, but generally isn't very aggressive. For example:
Pre: Limps UTG, I rase button with AK. Hit an ace and take him to valuetown against his AJ.

My image should be lagtard.

So on to the hand.
Villain is button.
I'm bb. My hand 10[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]9:heart

Pre
He raises to 35. I call.
Could have three bet, but decided to flatcall here as my image was pretty out of line and villain is pretty weak postflop, so I just took a flop.
Flop - Pot (75)
1093r
I check, he bets 60, I raise to 210, He calls.
Turn (495)
3
He has about 750 left and I hate all my options

His range on the flop seems to me any 10, QJ, overpairs and sets. Is this really a c/f?

I think he will check behind most of the hands that you beat if he's passive. You let yourself get bluffed by QJ but such is life. cf.

Isnt your range pretty big for making this flop c/r against an active button? He is absolutely felting all Ts and probably some 9s.

Sure he can have JJ+, but he raised the button so his range is much wider than that.

I'd bet 285 and snapcall a shove.

If he checks we can value bet the river. In this situation where our equity is close to 50% and stacks being what they are I would prefer to have villain let us play near-optimally than to go for absolute max value.

It's not necessarily correct to put the max in against hands you beat if you can put less money in but with vastly higher equity. Pokerstove our equity when stacks go in.
