1. you could bet around 250 and see what happens. if you get raised you are kinda commited if you call
2. you could push here.
3. you could check behind and see if diamond comes on turn. if a blank comes i'd push to a check and have a tough decision to a bet

of the three i think id decide between the small bet and the check behind; kinda depends on the villan...would he bet big on turn if you check behind on flop with ATC just to pressure you?

thanks for the post

Brian

Option 3) is my line most of the time.

just check behind, if the turn is like a 6s and it gets checked to you bet 1/2-2/3pot to make it look like its for value. If you get called, try to check it down, if you get raised it's a rough spot. Fold and have 20BB left or go broke since a call would pretty much commit you.
This situation is pretty bad for TP and potcontrol is the way to go i think.
If another diamond turns, check/fold.

I'd check this down if possible. If he throws a small bet on the river with me still having TP I'll probably pay him off. Raising or pushing is pretty bad because you're gonna get raised by a set or a flush or just flat called by a really badly played AA or KK.

I think limping behind pre is better than folding. Not sure what to make of the lame 3-bet, but it might not be a bad idea to fold at that point. Calling with position is ok i guess (still hard to tell when you are dominated on a K;Q high flop.)

After BB checks this flop, def bet/call the flop. The only big hands that he could be trapping with now are AdKd;AdAx and KdKx. FWIW, i hate this spot, and by taking a diff line pre, u could have prevented it.

Any move by you commits you. Why not let hands that you beat bet the turn?
I hate giving the free card to hands with a diamond but in trying to add value to your hand and not have all of the hands that you have beat fold. Checking seems good. Ok so now I did this pokerstove:

Board: Qd Td 3d
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 43.983% 42.54% 01.44% 11793 399.00 { KsQc }
Hand 1: 56.017% 54.58% 01.44% 15129 399.00 { JJ+, AKs, AKo }

Even against a tight range we have some equity. If it's a non-diamond or ace turn I'm liable to get it in if he leads. If checked to I'm leading and calling a shove.

So from the preflop betting we have to suspect a high PP of course.
A check on the flop confirms this asssumption, with the 3 diamonds we can narrow villains range further, as he doesn't seem to be of another diamond.

I think you have to check behind on this flop, betting here is terrible cause it is very likely that you will be raised and will have to fold than.

I'm not sure if we can add AK to his range, cause the reraise size makes really no sense with AK.

Still this is a $4.40 and he might be a complete donk who plays 55, but against a thinking opponent i would try to check it down and fold to aggression.

You say you don't know much about BB? He has almost t6000. How did he get that many chips this early?

I probably play way to tight this early, but after the initial limper, I probably would have folded KQo preflop, or at the very least just called. Mainly just to keep me out of these types of decisions early on.
