They saved up for it for a long time and wanted to send to me to college. I'm very lucky obviously. I had enough money my senior year to pay for that year, but they paid for it. I've given some money to my mom's non-profit (she runs www.icfj.org).

Congrats Jason. My mom teaches at the Fuqua School of Business and Duke was/is my dream school since the day I moved to North Carolina (Laettner had just hit that turnaround jumper at the buzzer). I actually hope to eventually find my way back to Durham, NC and hopefully I will be mature enough and financially stable enough to at least get my MBA at Duke. Again, congrats and have some pints at Satisfaction Pizza, on me. or you.

p.s. My mom sent me an article from one of the Duke newsletters/publications and it was an interview with you from your dorm. Not sure how long ago it was conducted, but I remember her saying something along the lines of "you can always do the poker thing, but you have to be doing something important and useful at the same time."
