Why did your parents pay for it when you are a huge baller? [/ QUOTE ] They saved up for it for a long time and wanted to send to me to college. I'm very lucky obviously. I had enough money my senior year to pay for that year, but they paid for it. I've given some money to my mom's non-profit (she runs www.icfj.org). |

Re: It cost someone close to 200k...
Congrats Jason. My mom teaches at the Fuqua School of Business and Duke was/is my dream school since the day I moved to North Carolina (Laettner had just hit that turnaround jumper at the buzzer). I actually hope to eventually find my way back to Durham, NC and hopefully I will be mature enough and financially stable enough to at least get my MBA at Duke. Again, congrats and have some pints at Satisfaction Pizza, on me. or you.

Re: It cost someone close to 200k...
p.s. My mom sent me an article from one of the Duke newsletters/publications and it was an interview with you from your dorm. Not sure how long ago it was conducted, but I remember her saying something along the lines of "you can always do the poker thing, but you have to be doing something important and useful at the same time."
