Eli Manning? Rex Grossman? Come on now. He's not that bad. Yet on the fence with Mcnabb. Has KO watched football?
Favre is probably about league average at this point in his career. I think he would play differently (less INT's) on a good team, and hasn't been as motivated as one would like the last couple of years. He still throws hard and is reasonably accurate, but I don't think he puts in the preparation time anymore.
I like your list without Young on there. I think he's probably going to be mediocre this year, kind of like he was last year. Then again it's always hard to tell with young QB's. But I do know that I would prefer Quinn to Favre - if there's a QB in the NFL with more dashingly good looks than Brett, it's Brady.

Favre is a bottom 10 QB this year.

This is correct.

re mcnabb, i could be biased but i cant imagine its a given he will return to adequate form from a torn acl. its certainly a safe bet he will never be as good as he was. so what % will it be?

i believe by 'bottom 10', it was meant of starting QBs, not the myriad of backups which will make 07 Favre look like 98 Favre. Even so, it's still a good bet.

It seems that his recovery is going well, and that he should be close to 100% by training camp. It remains to be seen how good he'll actually be when he gets on the field. I don't think it's going to hurt his ability to pass in the pocket, but should definitely have a large impact on his mobility. Fortunately, he doesn't need to rely on his legs. Additionally, the Eagles have indicated they will have a larger focus on the running game this year, which should take a lot of the pressure off of McNabb. I'd expect Pro Bowl type numbers in the NFC. (~3500 yards, 25-28 TDs)
