does this imply that it is morally correct to steal from a big name store but doing the EXACT same thing from a smaller store is morally incorrect?
If i rob a little old lady at gun point at get $1000 from her... her entire life savings... then I go rob a bank and get $1000 from it (out of millions total) is it morally okay to rob the bank?

Still, calling 87 pounds worth of purchases a spree is a pretty niggardly thing to do.
