Default Playing middle pair - Standard river play?

Villain has only been at the table for a dozen hands. No significant reads.

Final Pot: 8.50 BB

I have a feeling that it might have been best to fold the river. But I thought that villain might be making a move with a middle pp or a ten and a worse kicker.

Does this make sense? Or can anybody here rationalize a fold?

Yes it makes sense. I am not folding here with no reads on the villain. I think he does this often enough with worse ten. The only thing is that not many opponents will bet/fold at this limit, that is the only thing I can think of to rationalize a fold. But I am not sure if the villain would call a straight draw with that turn card but definitely a ten. I am really looking to see others views on this. It is and interesting hand.

KT that sucks, but it was a 3 outer man don't sweat it. Definitely played it right. I do see a lot of opponents at this level donk bet the river when they made their hand, but the pot odds definitely make it a call. Nice hand.
