I am waiting for the fraud dept to contact me. They said they will within 1-2 business days, and I called Friday morning at 3AM when I saw the emails.
Once I get more info when they call I'll create a thread with the full story.

It looks like on that site above, they're actually currently free if you get a blackjack and sign a contract (probably 1-2 years). When I signed up for mine a few months ago, a data plan was not required. My service plan was similar to yours, possibly $10 more per month tho I'm not sure.

I just got this:

It only costs 50 bucks (after discounts and rebates and such), qwerty keyboard, 2gig mp3 player, and best of all it came preloaded with WSOP Poker Challenge for those boring meetings my boss keeps scheduling. I love it so far.
