I have only read the first couple pages but given the dialogue and the action i would have my money in here so quick and expect to see AA a huge amount of the time

ok two things for the retards that keep asking for results, its a couple pages back, the villian had KK, and the 33 called.

second, while i am not saying i could get away from the hand i agree with the previous poster who alluded to overbets "always" being the nuts. while its obv not 100% of the time, the massive overbet is the favorite move of lots and lots of donks when they are holding stone colds. im not suprised at all he played KK this way. I would NEVER EVER do it, but alls im saying is im not suprised.

interesting hand though, at least you got to get drunk after.

and it was the right call anyways.

you would be 96% of 2800 poorer as a result, that doesn't seem like a good plan to me at all

This is 500BB's deep. I think there is a legimate argument for getting away from this hand here.

[/ QUOTE ]

you keep saying 500BB's deep and it is extremely misleading....the amount that you all started the hand with is not nearly as important as the fact that the pot on the flop represents more than 20% of your stack....if you're gonna reraise with 33 preflop and create that huge a preflop pot, I cannot stress enough to you how big a mistake you're making by folding middle set on a non-straight non-flush board.....

[/ QUOTE ]

No need to see who wrote this, a PNL author just from the post.

That sounds like a terrible plan. You shouldn't even be playing 33 500 BBs deep, much less re-raising with it. But if you are re-raising with it, this is a pretty clear call. If you fold, it's because you're playing on scared money and you should get out of the game.

[/ QUOTE ]

I dont have much experience playing with effective 500BB deep stacks. Ussually if I have 500BB, I cover opponets by large amount, but is this true? Playing small PP's is -EV simply because of Set over Set instances? This deep I shouldn't play them at all?

Wow...this is just awful advice.

I was thinking the same thing, but doubted myself due to lack of experience with really deep play.
