Default stacked off on turn........standard? NLCASH

i usally 3 bet this in the big blind but sometimes i smooth call for strategic reasons. dont know how i really felt about this one but i didnt walk away beating myself up at all. we played about 800 hands and neither one of us cracked the whole time. we both played aggressive and our ranges were not tags nor overly aggro. i tip my hat off to him. stacked me......i told him gg and went to bed.

standard?

Pretty standard I guess. Not something where you can put him exactly on 54 but not where you can call knowing you're ahead 100% of time (22 and 33 come to mind) but I definitely 3 bet this preflop regardless of your strategic reasoning.

I'm trying to think how many buyins you'd need to be playing for to fold this on the turn... probably 4-5+.

i start to get worried on the turn when you were raised on the flop, then lead the turn and get raised again.

Either way, i play it the same and lose a little over a buyin.

Off topic, but why did you play a good player for 800 hands? It's not worth it at these levels with the rake.

agreed.

but i had the guy stuck about 140 and he was reloading so why should i quit the guy.

i also think its good to play some long sessions heads up, play tough and never crack or blow up and just hand over the money like i see so many others do.

do you know this guy i played?
