for me to get the job I did, it was a very necessary credential. If I had graduated from a lesser name it would've been harder for me to get in the door and to get the job I did.

Meh, I mostly disagree. Wall St is all about meritocracy and they are just as able to hire a big fish from a much smaller pool as a medium fish in a big pool, to mix a metaphor.

I've been on recruiting teams for 3 of the 5 best Ibanks and really, no one cares where you went undergrad. There's 100k candidates, 20k of which can probably do the job. It comes down to interviews.

All the Dookies hang out on Franklin St anyway.

Congrats, Strassa, are you doing sales, trading, structuring or unknown on the MS stock derivs desk? Is KK still there?

Is this an offer? If I can find my diploma I'd be willing to settle for pennies on the dollar.
