Re: old 1-2 hand, turn decision
"I call and call one bet back to me but fold for two."
the problem with that is some tard behind hero can easily raise a T and then blind will pump it again with his made flush. im not going to even start to count but im pretty sure it's still a call for two bets. three bets back to you prices you out. |

Re: old 1-2 hand, turn decision
At most, you prolly have 5 outs i,e. BB likely has a flush which gives you 7 outs but there may well be trip tens and something like Kk behind you giving you 5 outs. You have odds to continue with 5 outs.
Implied odds are negligible - you can maybe get one call based on pot size if you hit. Reverse implied odds are also there to worry about. But of course, the biggest problem is that you could easily be drawing dead. I would give you a weighted average of having 3 outs which amazingly enough still gives you enough odds to continue (barely). IMO, at this point, math takes a back seat to psychology. I would really really hate to fold, have my ship come in, and I am not there to collect the spoils. I would not mind too much if I call and either miss on the river or have to fold because of further heavy action behind me on the turn. So, I make a reluctant call here. |

Re: old 1-2 hand, turn decision
If the players are all solid, I think you can call and fold to onemore bet on turn.
