Two hands against short stacks

so, Empire gave me $15 free for play 150 raked, and I built it to just under $60 at 25NL -- go me! So anyway....

I know this is a multiple hand post, but it has a theme -- in both I am against short stacks. I think both of these hands might be totally standard, but I just wanted to make sure.

Hand one -- read: none. This guy just came to the table and bought in short.

 Considering how short he is, I want to bleed him. I'm not too worried about giving a cheap card here, since even if he hit a flush I'm calling any bet he would make.

Again, I'm trying to string him along.

Hand 1: Board is too drawy to be giving cheap cards to shortstacks. Flush or straight card comes, you fold? No way. Pot the flop.

Hand 2: What more can you ask for? Someone called your preflop all-in while you were holding the 2nd preflop nuts.

Greg:

H1: I think your plan should be to get him in on the turn. In case he does have a draw that misses the turn, you want him in there so he doesn't fold river if he misses. So, closer to $2 on the flop, rest on turn.

H2: I just raise to the shorties stack size in case BB wants to come along.

Hand 1 just push the turn, while he may still be drawing. Busted draws won't call anything on river.

Hand 2 I'd make a normal RR and see if BB will tag along. You really don't need to isolate such a shorty here.

hand 2 is good, hand 1 works but I like betting more at each street, getting him in sooner

1: I don't think that you're deep enough to make getting the money in over 3 streets practical, and if he's calling you with a draw he might fold the river if he misses, which would suck. I bet 1/3 of his stack on the flop and put him in on the turn.

2) That's an extremely big overbet considering the BB behind you is still active and has you covered.. I'd just make a PSR.

I always raise to the guy's stack size as mentioned. This often sucks in the suckers.

Yep, shorties then to chase, but will lay down on river if missed, so get him in on turn in hand one.

Hand two ... , yes, give BB a chance to jump on the train, raise to stacksize.
