Quickest game to clear bonuses

I'm normally a 100NL at FTP for a pretty good winrate, but recently I decided to do some whoring. I just deposited into Cake Poker, but since I only had 500 I'm stuck playing 50NL and the bonus is clearing really slow. Is there another game I should be playing? I heard limit hold em clears bonuses quickly, but I'm pretty clueless on that game. Should I learn the game to clear bonuses when they pop up? I've heard the winrate at limit holdem is much lower than NL so is it worth the decrease in winrate to unlock bonus? Any help on these subjects is appreciated.

a true whoreer will learn plo hi-lo. bonuses best cleared at .25-.50 or .50-1.00 levels.

at higher levels you better be darn good as bonuses wont cover your azz....

It depends on the site.

For sites that clear bonus on the basis of simple raked hands (i.e. any hand counts as long as it's raked - e.g. the Party raked hands method) then FL is fine. Shorthanded FL is quicker.

For sites that clear bonus based on points awarded according to the AMOUNT raked (e.g. all iPoker sites such as CDPoker) then play PL/NL. Omaha & Omaha 8 are particularly good as these tend to have high pots.

For sites that require contributed raked hands (e.g. Absolute, Bodog, UB, Ongame) you really need to play Stud, or any other game with antes.

I think it's a same bet to play the game that you are most profitable in. Being a losing player just to clear a bonus can't be good.

people who can actuually win are few and far between.

That being said, microbob has pointed out that the quickest way to gain fpps on stars is full ring 1/2 and higher limit games. So I'm sure it's the same for other sites.

Short handed Limit Omaha Hilo seems to do the job great.
